The Greet The Day Infusion Center Massage (ICM) program is a time tested and effective competency-building practicum for therapists who want to have hands-on experience working with people in active treatment, and the clinical teams caring for them.
This 4-day course is a unique and valuable learning opportunity that will provide therapists with the professional resources and working experience to serve as a functional member of the IC care team.
Provide massage for a broad range of oncology clients in the Infusion Center setting, and learn to address the massage and skin care considerations that present most frequently with this client population.
The Ridley-Tree Cancer Center of Santa Barbara is offering Tuition Scholarships for Greet The Day's Infusion Center Massage program being hosted at their Santa Barbara based Infusion Center.
To qualify for this ICM Education Scholarship, therapists will be required to;
a) live local enough to the Santa Barbara area to be able to fulfill the requirements of (d) as detailed below
b) successfully complete Greet The Day's Oncology Massage 3-day foundation course
c) provide documented proof of a TB negative test completed within the last 12 months
d) after completion of the Infusion Center Massage course provide 48 hours of Infusion Center Massage within a 12-month period for patients receiving their cancer treatment at a designated Santa Barbara Infusion Center.
